Nursing is a healthcare profession which focuses on taking care of the injured or ill people and help them recover their health. Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) in Nursing is a four-year undergraduate course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

BSc Nursing Qualifications and Eligibility

Eligibility

Before taking admission in BSc Nursing, the candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Attain 17 years of age by 31st December of the year of entry
  • A pass in 10 + 2 examinations from a recognized Board or University
  • Score a minimum of 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) in 10 + 2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as his subjects (minimum marks may vary with different institutes)

However, the salary range is lower in private hospitals where you can earn INR 7, 000 to 8, 000 per month. Defence and Railway Department hospitals offer better pay packages than other government hospitals.
